How does it work?
• Introductory Offer: sellers may use this site free of charge for the year commencing September 1, 2006. At August 31st, 2007, if you decide to continue with us, there will be a small user fee (i.e. $30.00 to display and edit 25 photos for 6 months). There is no committment to continue with us.

Please complete the registration form (below),"submit" it, then you may login with your email and chosen password to start uploading/showing/selling your stock photos, photo prints and/or photos of your Fine Art. Performing artists (including script writers & songwriters) looking for employment or commissions can show photos and information relative to their talents and skills.

PHOTOGRAPHERS - when uploading your photos, please use the main category of PHOTOGRAPHY and ONLY the PHOTOGRAPHY sub categories.

OTHER ARTISANS AND PERFORMING ARTISTS please use the other applicable main categories such as PAINTINGS, CARVINGS, GLASSWORK and appropriate sub categories. WHEN INITIALLY REGISTERING, PHOTOGRAPHERS,ARTISANS AND PERFORMING ARTISTS MAY ADD THEIR BIOGRAPHY. IF YOU DON'T DO IT AT THE TIME OF REGISTERING, PLEASE E-MAIL (USE SUPPORT) YOUR TEXT AND WE WILL ADD IT AT THIS END. How does this work for the seller and advertiser of skills or talents?
• PHOGRAPHERS - For the sale of photographs, prints and photo-related items, we take 13% commission from sales + printing costs (if applicable). 3% of this goes to PayPal so this site makes 10%.

   OTHER ARTISANS, MUSICIANS and PERFORMING ARTISTS:
Viewers deal directly with artisan or performing artist. We do not take any commission on resulting sales or employment.

I have uploaded photos for stock photos and prints. When do I get paid?
• Your profit from the sales of your photos and prints is paid to you once a month by cheque from Vancouver Island Photo Art.
